And the winner is Justify! Justify overcame the sloppy track to win the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
Justify will now be a contender for the Triple Crown. The third leg of the Triple Crown will be the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y. on February 9, 2025. The field will compete for the winner’s share of the $1.5 million purse.
